Living on the Kudamm, Berlin
The urban design concept for the planned residential development envisages a block perimeter closure on Lietzenburger Strasse and a block opening on Uhlandstrasse.
The block opening is a clear route into the interior of the block to the high-rise office building, which is located in the middle of the inner courtyard. The opening is structurally accentuated by a staggered height of the buildings that are planned to the right and left of the block opening.
The attractiveness of the city block is increased by the mixture of different urban uses, such as B. retail, urban living and the integration of a cinema.
