Multi-generational living in Methfesselstraße, Berlin
A residential complex consisting of 6-8 storey residential buildings is being built on a hillside property in the district of Berlin-Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg. A concept for multi-generational living is planned, which is based on the idea of cooperative living.
The center of the new complex is a high-quality garden courtyard around which the buildings are grouped. All living levels are accessed from here. With its opening towards Methfesselstraße, the courtyard has a semi-public character.
On the ground floor, an office and commercial use that will not interfere with living is planned. A shared two-storey underground car park guarantees sufficient parking spaces.
