UNQ Housing, Dusseldorf

In cooperation with Astoc Architects + Planners, this inner-city residential quarter with approx. 350 residential units between Grashofstrasse and Mercedesstrasse is being built north of the center of Düsseldorf.

The 7- to 8-storey quarter with differentiated facades comprises two "residential blocks", which  are divided along Grashofstraße and Stadtplatz West, as well as three residential villas.
The villas and the outdoor facilities with their four connected, high-quality inner courtyards are raised by a base and thus form a green, semi-public area. The concept of greening is consistently continued in the roof landscape.

The different apartment types have spacious loggias and balconies and are optimally lit thanks to their orientation.
A day-care center with five rooms rounds off the utilization profile of the building ensemble.
