Campus Tino-Schwierzina-Strasse 30, Berlin

A campus with 185 micro-apartments has been created near the Kunsthochschule Weißensee, in the district of Pankow-Heinersdorf. The complex was designed as an ensemble of four houses by the brh office.

In each house there are common rooms on the ground floor, in house 1 (as the reception building) there is also a launderette and a fitness room. A concierge has his workplace in the foyer as a permanent contact person.

Our task was the formulation of the houses, especially the entrances. Each house was given a facade of exposed brickwork in different stones. The entrances were particularly emphasized by colored metal cladding.

​

The outdoor space was designed as a place to be and a space for encounters with seating groups, a bicycle station and a playground.
