Palladium, Prague
With the Palladium construction project, a unique cultural and service center has emerged in the city center of Prague. Around 40,000 m² of retail and restaurant space as well as rooms for artistic events, 20,000 m² of office space that can be used flexibly and a three-storey underground car park with around 900 parking spaces have been created in the midst of the historical urban planning situation. The careful integration of this project into the historical situation as well as the inclusion and contemporary further development of details that characterize the cityscape were particularly important to us. In addition to extensive new buildings, two valuable, listed old buildings were integrated into the overall concept, restored and converted. The historic barracks building and the riding hall come from the Habsburg monarchy in 1859.
