MK9S office building, Munich
The draft of the flexibly usable office building with a sophisticated design emerged from an invited design contest.
As the last building block in the area, the building follows the lines of its surroundings and blends into its surroundings. The structure is wrapped in a white, woven mesh of metal and glass that gives it an unmistakable identity. Recesses or projections with large areas of glazing emphasize special situations (main entrance, view of the old town, terrace, etc.) or create new proportions by interrupting the regular façade grid. The office uses are designed on a development grid of 1.35 m.
The ground floor is planned as a forum around a spacious inner courtyard: a place for communication, meetings and exchange. The light-flooded entrance hall develops over three floors and houses the vertical access.
