Mercedes-Benz Airport Center, Berlin
Located at the interface between Berlin and the new BER airport, the building is the architectural expression of a new space and service concept by Mercedes-Benz AG. Due to the vertical stacking of different rooms such as the exhibition, showroom, administration and workshop area, the four-storey building has a strong visual presence to the outside. Very generous room heights in the exhibition area and diverse, light-flooded interiors determine the structural quality on the inside.
The main building consists of two wings housing administrative and exhibition spaces. On the south side of one wing is the workshop area, on the roof of which there is a parking deck accessible via a ramp.
