Hotel Ibis Budget Muenster

 

Two Accor Group hotels are planned on the corner of Herwarth-/Von-Steuben-Straße in Münster: a
Novotel (4 stars) with spacious conference rooms and an Ibis budget hotel (2 stars).

A historically valuable five-storey existing building was integrated into the design and houses service areas on the ground floor and other hotel rooms of the Novotel complex on the upper floors. A “glass joint” connects the old building with the new building, using the vertical development to compensate for the different storey heights of the two buildings.

​

The ground floor is designed as a spacious entrance and experience room, to which the conference rooms are attached.
The scale and proportion of the design are based on the morphology of the inner-city and neighboring buildings.
