Hip Berlin
The 5-storey office and commercial building is part of the overall "Tiergarten Dreieck" development and is located on the south-west corner of the entire complex, bordered by Corneliusstrasse and Stülerstrasse. The five-storey building can be flexibly subdivided on the upper floors using the selected expansion grid. Shops, a bistro and a high-quality restaurant are located on the ground floor.
The facade facing Corneliusstraße with a view of the Landwehr Canal was designed to be transparent. A rhythmic play of light and shadow in the warm colors of the wooden windows and the natural stone acts as a lively contrast to the strictly designed cubic structure.
The office building has a protective, sound-absorbing double façade facing the noisy Stülerstrasse. It is divided into horizontal slats and can be opened individually by the users for ventilation.
