Berliner Volksbank, Berlin

The head office of the Berliner Volksbank is located close to the Memorial Church in the “City West” of Berlin. The aim of the competition was to expand, convert and redesign the building.

​

The design, which was awarded a special prize, envisages designing this extension in the form of a high-rise building and thus creating an effective urban counterbalance, in particular to the new zoo window and the Europa Center.

​

The entire spatial organization of the office building was improved and the vertical development optimized.

​

At the same time, the new headquarters of the Berliner Volksbank will have a building that is optimal in terms of space and has an urban and visually convincing presence.
