B-plan procedure Mercedesstraße., Düsseldorf
In the Derendorf district of Düsseldorf between Grashofstraße and Mercedesstraße, a new development plan is to be drawn up based on our planning and to meet the city's increasing needs for high-quality housing according to the principle of a city of short distances with a large number of uses.
The B-Plan procedure includes the conversion of an MK area into a WA area, as well as the redesign of an already existing MK area. The installation process is carried out in close coordination with the city of Düsseldorf.
In the WA area, the realization of a high-quality residential quarter is planned according to the "living concept" of the city of Düsseldorf with approx. 440 residential units and an above-ground floor area of approx. 41,000 m².
In addition to 20% low-priced housing, the new B-Plan should also enable 20% subsidized housing and a 4-stream day care center.
In the new MK area, a block perimeter development with high-quality office buildings with an above-ground floor area of approx. 33,000 m² is to be developed. It connects to the block of flats in the west, continues the closed development along Grashofstraße and forms the new entrance to the state capital with the existing ARAG Tower on Stadtplatz Ost.
